Summary:

Hi,

We have 2 manager types configured in Core HR i.e. default Line Manager and another type Supervisor based on client needs.

We have a requirement to route Position approval workflow based on whether one type of manager exists for an employee or not. For e.g. if a Supervisor is assigned to an employee, send approval to him but if Supervisor is not assigned, send approval request to Line Manager instead. Currently, if we set the workflow to go to Supervisor, workflow fails if the Supervisor is not assigned to the employee raising the transaction.

Could the requirement be achieved in Transaction Console or BPM?
