Contracts stuck in PENDING_APPROVAL status

Summary:

Does anyone know how to use the REST APIS to get a Contract out of PENDING_APPROVAL status.

Content (required):

I ran a process to Approve 2000+ Contracts most succeeded about 340 have stuck in PENDING_APPROVAL status.

I don't mind going back to UNDER_AMENDMENT or APPROVING. I can cope with either from that point onwards.
