Hide "Pending Worker" record from Business Title view via Employment Information page

Is there a way for us to hide the pending worker record from the business title drop down in the Employment Information Page

From a user perspective, the pending worker record is just the beginning of their engagement with the company and so it should be a continuous flow between person types, not separated out. Is there a way to hide the pending worker record?
