Is it possible to automate Resource Breakdown Structure maintenance?

Summary:

We have been asked by our client if there is a suggested way to have automated maintenance of resource breakdown structures for employees data from HCM (new employees, role upgrades, department change, termination of employment etc.).

Since these can import data from FBDI, I would think they can do an extract/load.

But does anyone know of a better alternative?

Client runs on a daily high turnover of Named Persons, and manual RBS maintenance would be too time-costly.
