Leverage attribute ViewInstanceName in Change Personal Information approval rule

Summary:

Leverage attribute ViewInstanceName in Change Personal Information approval rule

Content (required):

Hi all,

We have a requirement to send an FYI to HR Representatives in case of ESS changes to Personal Information. As per chapter 5.3.4 of 'The Basics of Approval Rues' attached in Doc ID 2430452.1, I am using the attribute ViewInstanceName. This is working well for Address, DriversLicense, LegislativeInfo and Passport. This attribute is great, because it covers CUD (Creation, Update and Deletion). Instead of writing a complex rule to cover all these cases, you can simply leverage the attribute ViewInstanceName.

Unfortunately, it's not working for us regarding GlobalName and VisaPermits. When we add or change data, these rules do not evaluate to true.

Howdy, Stranger!
