Unable to revert changes in a published sandbox

Unable to revert changes in a published sandbox
Content (required):
We have made changes in Family and Emergency Contacts --> Create a new contact. We hided few fields using page composer, one of the fields was What's the start date of this relationship and published the sandbox.
Now:
-- unable to save the contact
-- unable to revert the changes
Suspecting because start date was mandatory, it is not allowing to save.
Kindly guide how to revert the changes.
