Why is the behavior different ?

Using the tutorial data set 'terminations_workers_details.xlsx' to get familiar with the inbuild machine learning functionality I tried to follow the tutorial. There is different behavior dependent on using the Desktop version or the Cloud version of Oracle Analytics. In the cloud version everything works fine in the Desktop version the Key Driver analysis and the Segments analysis are failing with the error shown in the screenshots below
