I want to show some simple statistics based on legal employers in our HCM setup. I am starting with a simple task, showing the average years of service for assignments in each legal employer.

I have just the two columns: Legal employer name and years of service. In screenshot 1 it shows the total years of service for each legal employer, because I haven't added any filter or formula, which isn't the requirement.

Then I tried adding the avg formula to the Years of service column in screenshot two. This however results in what I'm guessing is the average years of service for the entire enterprise to be shown for each legal employer row (screenshot 3).
