Issue while calculating Merit month for the existing Employees

Summary:

Merit Month not applying correctly to the Employees.

Content (required):

Here i'm applying April month as merit month to Employee Merit Increase in the Compensation .When i update the month and save the data in the Employee Details Page.

Merit increase starts from Jan, not from April.

Kindly advice on the issue.
