Unexpected behavior for contract numbering.

Summary:

I uploaded some procurement contracts to our client and the contract numbering was proceeding normaly as shown on the

attached screen (10158,10159,10160) ,after 4 days when entered another contracts the next number was 11001 not 10161 although our contract numbering method is''automatic'',i don't know why the numbering was not proceeding normaly? Is there any way to update these contracts,Kindly advise?
