Rehired employee details not showing in Person field of Task Transaction control

Summary:

Content (required):

An employee is rehired today with the same person number and with today's date as hire date.

In Project labor cost override, the newly created record is showing.

But, in project, in the Task Transaction control page, this newly created person record is not showing. Also, if we check the future dated assignments checkbox, then it shows all the previous employment records only.

Any suggestions, what could be the issue.
