Ability to restrict modifying approved future-dated absence entries

Hi - is there a way to restrict employees from modifying approved future-dated absences ?

Example: On 11-Aug-2022, an employee applies for a 2 day absence on 5th and 6th September and the request is approved by the manager the same day. However, the next day (12-Aug-2022), the employee wants to change this to a 1 day absence. The employee clicks on the exiting leave request, changes the dates and submits again. Once the manager approves, the 2 day absence entry changes to a 1 day absence entry.

Since there is no record of a Withdrawn leave, our payroll team is unable to know when changes are made.
