Need to restructure dimensions for optimal retrieval performance in reports, smartview, etc. Currently most of our sparse dimensions are set to dynamic calc to reduce the reliance on aggregations for quick business rule performance.

However, the focus is now on fast retrieval performance for end users with less of a focus on business rule calculation performance.

Trying to avoid complaints from end users for slow retrieval performance.

Some things I am considering include reverting 'dynamic calculation' dimensions to 'never share' and for those members which contain a member formula, moving the formula into a calc manager rule instead.

Howdy, Stranger!
