Our current setup for employee name in Personal Details is that there are fields for First Name, Last Name and Preferred Name, which employees can update in Self Service. Preferred Name is currently only used for alternative First Names. The display name that appears on the Fusion home page is 'Preferred Name' + 'Last Name'. We have a requirement from several employees now to record a legal last name but to be known by a different last name (i.e. they have legally changed their name but at work wish to continue to be known by their former name).
