Descriptive Flexfield shows description instead of values

Hello All

We are facing an issue here since we use UTF-8 language which has special characters .

Any DFF (Flexfield) that we create that uses a List option as Value set. only displays in screen the Value and not the description.

So what happens to better integrate oracle with payroll in Brazil. We must send some of these codes Which is "value field" that are numbers, but we MUST present the description for the UI.

Has anyone faced something similar and know how to do it?
