Assignment Change notification to approver is not showing current values

Summary:

Our use case is this: Manager will initiate a assignment change transaction. The client wanted to add the HR specialist team as the first approver to review this transaction before sending it to one up manager for approval.

We don't see the current values being populated in this notification. They are blank. The proposed values are showing up.

Has anyone had this issue and knows how to solve it ?
