How to add resources without a role in Oracle?

We use the DocuSign integration with Oracle to get our Procurement contracts signed. How can we add signers without letting them consume an enterprise contracts role?

We use the DocuSign integration with Oracle to get our Procurement contracts signed. These signers can be any person, mostly management or board within the organization. So we are talking about 50-80 people.

If we want to add such party on the parties tab and flag this as a signer such a party should be setup as a resource. When setting up a resource a contract role is required. So each signer consumes a contracts role apparently. So this would ultimately mean that we need 50-80 contracts licences for just signing a contract!
