We have a requirement :

Need to configure an approval where the approver should route via Position Hierarchy.

Let's suppose there are positions from 1 to 7 as per mapping.

Requirement:

If an employee applies a request it should route approval based on the parent position mapping as per the configuration. Below is an example of Parent Position mapping available for the following position OT.South Sharqiyah Senior Technician (Attaching screenshot).

Issue: There are around 1000+ positions that we can configure by selecting the starting and top positions.

Expectation: Approval should route for each position hierarchy up to G.M or V.P.
