Cost Rollup for Kit Item based on BOM without work definition

Summary:

We have defined Kit Items with Product Structures. We would also like to include a virtual component to mimic the labor cost in the BOM.

Would it be possible to roll up the cost of KIT item without a work definition so that we can't generate work orders from Planning for these Kit Items
