Adding supplemental text into absence entry page specific to the absence type selected

Summary:

We have entered different description texts for each absence type. When a specific absence type is selected by the employee in the Absence Entry responsive page, we need to reveal this description in a separate custom field in the page or as a tooltip in the Absence type LOV. We've tried to develop a solution in Page composer but could not succeed

Is there a standart functionality or workaround to achieve that?
