Legitimacy of SQL Writing Softwares like Cloud Miner

Hi Gurus,

Recently, we heard that softwares like Cloud Miner is helpful in writing SQL query in Fusion BI without the need to create a report. It ofcourse helpful and easy to use. However we have some questions related to the data security over this software, so can someone help in estimating if we can use Cloud Miner like softwares on the client data, if not any pipeline for oracle to release such softwares.
