Is there a white paper on setting up a forecasting profile for intermittent demand?

I would like to set up a forecasting profile in demand management for forecasting intermittent demand. I guess we choose all forecast methods whose name contain "for intermittent demand", but is this sufficient? I am wondering if there is a white paper (or any other source, e.g. customer connect event replay) on the correct set up of the various forecasting profile parameters specifically for this purpose (not the general white paper on the forecasting parameters).
