Dependent parameters not working as expected in BI Data model

Summary:

We have two parameters - one parameter is of Date type and second one is Menu type.

Menu type is a sql based parameter and dependent on date.

Whenever I'm changing the date parameter while submitting - second parameter is not taking the latest date. It is taking default date only.

We are not understanding what can be the issue here.
