Flex form vs ad hoc analysis (grid)

Hi All,

I'm trying to figure out the added value of flex forms. I fail to see what can be achieved more with a flex form in comparison to a regular ad hoc analysis.

As far as I understood, the main advantage of the flex would be the ability to move and delete rows and columns in Smart View, which can also be achieved with ad hoc. On top would the changes made by the user be reverted once the flex form is closed and reopened, eliminating all main differences in comparison to ad hoc.

Probably I'm missing something important here. Maybe you guys/girls can make me aware? :-)
