Printing reports without IP whitelisting

Summary:

Our Client has a requirement to print SCM reports and shipping documents from their printer. But they are hesitant to use the IP address whitelisting feature as they feel that way they will expose their network to security risk. Please suggest any other alternate approach for the same which is secured.
