Help with loading learning assignments via HDL

Does anyone have links to any detailed guidance or video demonstrations on how to load learning assignments via HDL?

Content (required):

We are new to loading assignments via HDL and we are struggling to get it to work. We're also struggling to identify why it isn't working. I believe we need to do an initial load, which adds the assignments to the offering in an active status, then a second load to change the status to completed. Its the first load we're having issues with.

We've read Understanding Data Loading and Extraction in Oracle Learning. I just wondered if there are any other useful resources that we could look at?
