Variance Period Balance Missing for "Annual" Prior Balance Frequency Variance Analysis Rec

I have seen other users post issues with getting a prior-annual period balance to show up on a Variance Analysis reconciliation. Our set-up is pretty straightforward, but we are having an issue where the prior annual period balance does not show up for comparison on variance analysis recs. Specifically, we need a Jun-22 rec to show a variance period balance from Jun-21 and it's not. We've tried switching formats and recreating recs per another user's suggested fix but it doesn't work.

Profile & Rec A10 uses a format set to Variance Analysis method. The "Prior Balance Frequency" on the format is set to "Annual."
