Enable Data Security on Supplier Site Data in OTBI

Business Use Case:

Currently, users who have view only access to supplier profile UI can see supplier sites for all procurement BUs. There is a solution that allows these users to only view supplier sites for the procurement BU where they are configured as an agent. This involves:

-  Create the user as a procurement agent to the desired procurement BU and enable Manage Suppliers action.

-  Assign the user with the privilege Maintain Supplier Site. (Note that view only users don’t have Maintain Supplier privilege thus they won’t be able to edit supplier or supplier site on supplier profile UI.)
