How to change Source subinventory for Component item in Work Definition

I have defined a Work definition for FG that has a Phantom item in Level 1 and the Phantom Item consists of the component Item at Level 2 that needs to be consumed for FG manufacturing.

When I create Work Definition, I can define Source subinventory for Phantom Item but not for the Level 2 Component Item... Moreover, there is no way to update this information through Work Definition page...

Due to this, the Level 2 component item picks source subinventory from Plant parameters...

Please let me know whether it is possible to setup the supply subinventory for such item through Phantom Item structure or through Work definition????
