Anyone found a way to view substitution variables in Smart View without having to type it in?
Summary:
Currently in Smart View, the only way I'm aware of to use substitution variables is to type it in the cell. This is fine for admins but for users its a difficult ask for them to remember without having a printout of them. There used to be a Power Pack for Substitution Variables we could add onto Smart View but its no longer available and I beleive its only for Essbase connections. Has anyone figured out a way to be able to show users what the possible list of variables to choose from in their Smart View query?
