Is there any official Oracle view on the Social functionality

Hi,

Ever since a few years, I've heard rumours about Oracle saying that the 'Social' functionality that you can enable on transaction/object level, would disappear.

We haven't been promoting it (as a partner/implementator) as we expected not much developments would be made towards this functionality.

However, since it remains an interesting feature, I would love to know an official Oracle feedback on this 'rumour'.

Does it stay & will get improved every release?

Or will it slowly disappear?
