Summary:

Use case: We want to end date/remove a specific component from the the WD and add a new component in WD on a future effective date. Currently because process wd uses ad-hoc items there is no provision to end date an operation item. Creating a new version and deleting a component also deletes it from all previous revisions. What is the recommended way to disable and add new operations with future effective date? We have 100+ work definition that need to be updated with such changes.
