OSMS Windows Update failed to check for updates with error 0x80240438
Solution
1. Enable / Disable OSMS Agent at Cloud Console Dashboard:
- Go to: Compute -> Instances -> <MyWindowsInstance> -> Oracle Cloud Agent
- Toggle OS Management Service Agent option (on / off / on).
2. Restart OCAOSMS Service at Windows Level.
- You can press Windows + X, followed by G to open "Computer Management"
- Services and Applications -> Services -> Oracle Cloud Agent (Right click and select restart)
- Make sure service is in "Running" Status.
3. Go back to Cloud Console Dashboard.
- Compute -> Instances -> <MyWindowsInstance> -> Resources -> OS Management
