Using AsofDate variable as a Dashboard prompt

Summary:

Using AsOfDate variable as a Dashboard prompt

Content (required):

We have several OTBI reports that run using AsOfDate as the prompt variable. I would like to add these reports to a dashboard and create the dashboard prompt for the AsOfDate variable. Is this possible?

Currently, in the analysis AsOfDate is set up on the prompt tab and on the advance tab I have entered the SET VARIABLE PARAM_EFFECTIVE_DATE='@{AsOfDate}';

I want to change this to a dashboard prompt. I have created the dashboard prompt (see screen shot) and removed the prompt set in the analysis. However, since AsOfDate is a variable prompt, I am not sure how to attach it in the analysis. For any other field, I would add it as a filter stating "is prompt". Can this be done with AsOfDate and how?
