In our new DSO application, accounts are sparse. What happens when we move an account

We are planning to move an account to a different parent. In the past, I do not believe we had to consolidate (since it was dense). Will the consolidations show impacted to enable us to reconsolidate, or do we need to impact the status manually (like putting a "1" in a specific data point to impact the years to consolidate
