How can I assign a learning item to a New Hire starting in the future?  

Content (required):

For example, client has 500 new hires starting on 11/14. At present, they are in the system, with a start date of 11/14, but I am not able to search and select them to assign learning. There has to be a way to assign learning before the actual start date.

Client has new hire learning that needs to be completed the week before start date.
