How to correct hire date for employees

Summary:

1.I was trying to correct hire date for some employees which were put wrongly into the system. The system does not allow for that as it says, the new date must be after the termination date of the employee. But we have not entered any termination date and the dates need to be backdated, e.g. from Oct 12th 2022 to June 1st 2019. The system declines this request.

2.And also let me know is there any impact for any other modules if we change hire date for employees.Like Absence and Payroll etc.
