Summary:

The 'Filter by results of another analysis is extremely slow'

Content (required):

I have an, admittedly heavy, analysis with a significant number of calculated measures. This analysis is filtered by the results of another analysis, by a Job Requisition Number field. This other analysis is just a list of Job Requisition Numbers, itself filtered by a Job Offer Date field.

So, date prompts on a dashboard filter an analysis to get a list of Job Reqs. Another analysis on the dashboard is then filtered by this list of Job Reqs.

It is intensely slow. If I edit the final analysis with just a manual list of requisition numbers, it runs perfectly quickly. Making that filter the results of the first analysis introduces significant slowdown in the running.

Howdy, Stranger!
