Standard lot size to define item structure

We have a case where a list of chemicals get mixed to produce a finished good (sub assembly). If we define item structure, the component quantities will be in decimals which can become difficult to understand and manage. Instead, we would prefer to enter component quantities for a given lot size.

We know that the standard lot size is used for cost rollup, but we are wondering if there is a similar way to use it for item structure , so that the component requirement in the work order is calculated based on that.
