How to SUM 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th occurrence of values in trailer summary record for ETEXT template?

Summary: I have a requirement to build a trailer record that includes 4 separate SUM totals based on the occurrence of these totals in the employees record.

I can't change the tags or the source XML file since this is an Oracle delivered report for Canadian Year End Taxes (Rel-1) and we need to transmit a flat file to our payroll provider who requires these totals in the trailer record.

I am taking the XML that the report produces from Oracle and trying to use an eText template to create my flat file. I have everything done except these 4 summations.
