WORK WEEK FOR ABSENCE

Hi
we are using absence in our Project
and i have some really basic question
- in part of the countries we are working from Monday to Saturday and in some of the countries it is from Sunday to Friday
- - i see currently that out of the box when a worker ask for absence on Sunday the system give him this error although no work schedule were defined
Contey question is how the system knows that the working days in from Monday to Friday if we didint define anything in the workschcedule?and also how can we change it for some of the countries to be Sunday - Friday ?
