Summary:

Hi All BI/ reporting experts - The question is regarding migrating BI reports from one pod to the other. Oracle recommends using archive/ unarchive feature. We have multiple analyses were we have used BU names (not ID codes) as report criteria. When you archive this in source and unarchive this in the target environment, the BU names are replaced by the ID values from backend tables. Also the ID values copied are of the source environment. Now we know the ID values change from pod to pod if they are manually created.

I would like to know this from the experts and Oracle product development team if this is expected behavior? Will the BU names used as report criteria get changed to BU ID values ?
