VBCS invoking integration over REST protocol getting errored

Summary:

I'm currently invoking integration over REST protocol from VBCS app, though the integration has to do lot of activities in a loop and it is getting automatically errored in 5 minutes.

Want to know if there is any restriction on synchronous integrations to not run more than 5 minutes ?

Also, how can we overcome this limitation?
