Is it possible to add recommended items with a negative quantity or amount?

Summary:

As a user i will like to add Recommended Items with a negative quantity, or as an alternative with a negative price.

Content (required):

The Recommended Item Rule is with "Advanced Price and Comment", and the quantity and price are user input into an array table.

If we in the Recommended Item set the quantity to -1, the debugger shows the return string qty as negative,

"Fradrag 01~-1~Test~111.0|^|", but in the Configurator, it is shown as +1 

Is it possible to have a negative qty?
