With Demand Planning, can a forecast be loaded via REST API?

We are implementing Supply Planning and finding there is no way to load external forecast via REST API.

We have a question, does Demand Planning support uploading External Forecast via REST API. I understand the primary purpose of Demand Planning is to actually generate a forecast using either Order or shipment history.

If Yes, can we implement demand planning in a light mode to only support this feature
