How to enable Security for Payroll Costing Report?

edited Dec 26, 2022 7:00AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Summary:

Payroll Costing Report - Security not working. Showing restricted data.

Content (required):There is a requirement to restrict the payroll data for some set of employees. The roles configuration is done and in place.

When logged in with the restricted user and while trying to submit the Payroll Costing Report (from Submit a Flow screen), the dropdown of the 'Payroll' parameter is showing limited payrolls (excluding 'EXBW1' executive payroll).

But, when the flow is run without any payroll selection (empty Parameter), it is returning 'EXBW1' payroll data also in the output report.

Expectation - It should not show the EXBW1 payroll data when the report is ran by the restricted user. Also, Payroll parameter can't be made mandatory as a workaround as this report is expected to be run for all payrolls at once.

Howdy, Stranger!
