How to reset the paging control variable

Summary:

Hi Experts

I have followed below blog and trying to populate the table with PDP variable but when i search for second, third time the earlier details are not getting reset i.e. i want to make PDP variable empty and show no records if second time search results fetches nothing.

I tried to use reset variable but it is not resetting the data available in PDP variable, also PDP variable is not visible in fire data provider action
