Exception Sets at Item/Resources level

In ASCP, we have the capability to assign an exception set at the item/org and at resource level. This helps us control which items/resources get exceptions triggered. In Supply Planning cloud, we just get the option to associate the exception set at the plan level. Why is the same feature not available in cloud? Do we have any plans to get the same accommodated in the near future?
