Approved Absence Transfer to Time and Labor

Summary:

Hi all - we are in the process of implementing Oracle HCM and have questions about the absence transfer to Time and Labor.

Content (required):

We know that an approved absence request can be transferred to the Time card in Time and Labor; however, we are running into 2 issues.

1- All absences (even if not yet approved) are showing on Time and Labor. I'm hoping that is just a quick configuration update we can make.

2- We are prepopulating the time card from the schedule in Oracle HCM, when the absence comes over to the time card, it's not removing the hours worked that came from the pre-population of the schedule. If employees forget to remove those hours, they will be overpaid for that day. I would think the system should replace that time. Is that how it should work? If not, how have others handled the risk of overpayment?

Howdy, Stranger!
