Oracle Linux: uptrack-update Fails with "Error processing ksplice- pxyfnay6.tar.gz"

Symptoms

Running uptrack-update returns the following error,

$ uptrack-upgrade -y
.....
Install [12b9vimz] Live fix for XFS writeback corruptions.
Installing [pxyfnay6] Known exploit detection for CVE-2021-4034.
Error processing ksplice-pxyfnay6.tar.gz
The following actions failed:
Install [pxyfnay6] Known exploit detection for CVE-2021-4034.
Ksplice was unable to install this update because your running kernel has been modified from the version provided by your vendor.
Please contact Oracle support for help resolving this issue.

 

Cause

The reason for this is FireEye Endpoint Security, it has to be unloaded before that ksplice update can be applied.
